“BUSY HANDS”
Is a group of Presbyterian Women who meet on Friday afternoons in the lobby of the church from 1:00 to 3:00 and knit and crochet. Currently, we are working on projects requested by Knitting4Peace and the Vera Lloyd home, a home that our church helps support. Knitting4Peace is a non-profit organization based out of Denver, Colorado, and has been in operation since 2006. The items we create are personally delivered to adults, teens, children, infants and families in local and global areas of suffering and conflict. Over the past few years, we have knitted/crochet hundreds of scarfs, wash rags, hats, shawls, caps and baby blankets that will be sent to be distributed to those in need.
